Actiontrack visits Mount Temple every year to work with students and their process always generates shows that entertain and showcase the talents of the students, often the surprise of the pupils themselves. You can see the Actiontrack website at www.actiontrack.org.uk

Actiontrack and TY present the 1st, last and only performance of their original show. The plot, characters, story and songs have been created during the week with a mixture of games, exercises, drama, dance and singing sessions. The fruit of their labours perforemed in Mount Temple Hall October 14th.
This year’s show is a guity ‘whodunnit’ with a plot that owes much to film noir.
Murder is committed, dancing girls go missing, theirs love in the stars and the mob is in town. Broadway will never be the same….

Project Partnership
Mount Temple students are extremely lucky to benefit from a partnership with the Project Arts Theatre. This partnership gives your child the opportunity to attend professional shows at a very reduced rate of five euro. To date, there have been four theatre trips and there are two more shows that are sold out in this block of six. The next block of shows will take place from the end of October to December.
How can you help?
As places to all shows are limited, please ensure that your child brings in the form and money as soon as possible. Places are allocated on a first come-first served basis.
Please ensure that you sign the form and put your child’s name on the form. The money and the form should be put in an envelope.

We are delighted to announce that transition year will be putting on the musical ‘Grease’ on the week beginning the 19th of March. In order to prepare for the show and to ensure maximum participation, the entire year is scheduled for a ‘Theatre and Stage’ class each Friday afternoon (1.45 – 3.45 pm). Students can choose what part of the musical they wish to be involved in e.g. Acting, set design, stage management, etc.
How can you help?
Ensure that your child is attending school regularly. If your child is in the cast of ‘Grease’, they will be required to attend some rehearsals after school. All cast will be required to be available for the entire weekend before the show.
You can sponsor the show and/or take out an advertisement in the show’s programme. For more information, please contact Ms. Doak, Mrs Finnegan or Ms. O’Brien.
If you have any ninteen-fifties clothes or items that could be used as props, please send them in or contact Ms. Doak or Ms. McCardy.
Come along to the show and encourage others to buy a ticket.
