Mount Temple Craft Club takes place in the school library every Thursday at lunch-time. No experience or equipment needed. Students and teachers are welcome. Every week experienced instructors give demonstrations, guidance, and inspiration on knitting and crocheting. There will be visiting instructors teaching various other crafts throughout the year so listen out for announcements and have a look at the display cabinet in the library for some of the craftwork produced.
The Craft Club project for 2016/17 was ‘The Bunting Challenge’. First years were asked to cut fabric triangles and submit them to the Craft Club to sew into bunting. An impressive 1720 triangles were cut and submitted. 1I were awarded a no homework day and some healthy goodies at assembly for submitting the most triangles at 608. Well done 1I and their form teacher Ms. Geary!
