Project Theatre Partnership

Ms. Doak has established a partnership with the Project Theatre in Temple Bar. Trips are organised to many of the shows at the theatre at a very discounted price for pupils. Trips to see eight plays will be made in the first term between September and December. Workshops with the actors or director of the play are sometimes also organised for Mount Temple Students.

5th Year Drama

Mount Temple students will be representing Ireland at a European Theatre Festival in Holland from the 19th to the 25th of January 2011. After the festival the students will perform the play in Mount Temple Theatre.

Drama Workshops

Ciaran Gray is facilitating a series of drama workshops for TY students every Monday from 4 to 5 in Mount Temple Hall. All are welcome.

Playwriting Course

Dan Colley, an past pupil of Mount Temple, is taking TY students for a playwriting course. Students will devise and perform their own play in December 2010.

TY Play

Auditions will take place for the annual 4th Year Play after Christmas. Watch the TY noticeboard for more details.
