Junior Boys Rugby beat Clongowes win Junior League 2017

Congratulations to the Junior Boys Rugby team who yesterday beat Clongowes 17-8 to become 2017 Junior League Champions. Mr Buckley’s warriors overcame tough opponents in a tight game but with some brilliant performances by key players across the park they pulled away in the last ten minutes to open up a two score lead. It could have been even more but for brilliant last ditch tackling by the Clongowes 15. At the end of the day Mount Temple deserved their win and lifted the trophy at the end of a brilliant campaign.
