LGBT Support Group (SPECTRUM)

The group was founded in 2012 by Danny Tynan, now a past pupil. It’s called SPECTRUM, which stands for Sexuality, Pride, Equality, Community, Trust, Respect and Unity in Mount Temple. Students are welcome to bring friends who are not LGBT as friends and allies can play an important role in our group. The group and school are proud to be the first secondary school LGBT support group (that we are aware of!) in Ireland.

BeLonGTo is a youth organisation which supports LGBTI youth and it has worked with Mount Temple in supporting our students.
